This is Wet n Wild: art on the street. They are swatches without primer. This eyeshadow palette comes with colorful shades. I rarely see orange eyeshadow. But this is an okay palette. I think they are too chalky. I wish the purple was more pigmented as well. It barely shows up on the eye, even with primer. Overall, I like the orange, green, and blue colors the best. So, I don't feel like it was a complete waste.
Hope you are doing well!
Here are some lovely blushes. I love la femme. I was not a blush person because the blushes never showed up on my skin. But these do. La femme blushes are perfect for dark skin. I have one mac blush in raizin but that is about all for other brands of blushes.
Russet, cinnabar, and sienna all look good for a natural glow.
Framboesia is the loudest color, very bright, use sparingly.
Brick Red is a brownish red.Cinnabar is a shimmery light brown.
Framboesia is a bright pink with sparkles.
Russet is a reddish brown some say a dude for raisin. It is good for natural flush.
Terracotta is a shimmery pinkish orange.
Heather is a matte beige. Good for highlights.
Coral is a pretty coral matte blush. The picture doesn't capture it well.
Grape is a dark mauve shimmer.
Peach is a light matte pink.
Bordeaux is a shimmery burgundy. Good for dark skin tones.
Sienna is a matte brown.
Mocha is a brownish matte pink.
Fuchsia is a medium matte pink.
Red is a bright shimmery red.
Mulberry is a pretty pink matte blush.
Orange is a beautiful matte orange. One of my favorites.
Plum frost is a shimmery bronze pink. I love this blush.
Coral spice is a shimmery light pink.
Golden Sunset is an online other beauty. A bronze shimmery with orange undertone.
Orchid Ice is a shimmery medium pink
I love them all. I cannot pick my favorite.
They are inexpensive on Makeup Mania website. You can buy just that color for 3.50 and put them in a a palette. I bought a couple and then kept buying them because I loved the colors. I might depot them and put them in a palette but it is too much work right now. Anyways, Here are my swatches of my favorite blushes:
Well, I always fail at foil art. The foils never transfers completely. And I am left with a sticky mess. Heh. Well to do foil art still you can do the no glue method, where you use regular polish and wait until it is tacky but not dry, then place the foil on places on your nail to grab the foil art. Not all that foil will come off but at least you have a cool design. Here is my work. I am still looking for a good topcoat though. This is my Christmas holiday design. Red and gold. I used china glaze - ruby pumps as the red.
I love wet n wild, so I have many lipsticks accumulated. Here is my collection and swatches.
Left to Right: doll house pink, mauve outta here, purty persimmon, sugar plum fairy, cherry bomb
Doll house pink is almost lavender on my skin tone.
Mauve outta here is a very bright Barbie pink.
Purty persimmon is such a pretty orange color, my favorite. Good for summer.
Sugar Plum Fairy is a deep plum color.
Cherry bomb is a deep red, a perfect red for women with darker skin.
Left to Right: ravin' raisin, mocha-licious, sand storm, in the flesh.
Ravin' raisin is a nice plumlike purplish color.
Mocha licious is one of my favorites. It is a nice brownish pink.
Sand Storm is another muted pink that I like.
In the flesh is a lighter pink that I like too.
I like pinkish colors the best. I don't wear the lipstick fully as it looks garish on me, but I apply a little with a brush and top it off with lip gloss. I like shiny lips as well. Well, these will last me for a while!
Left: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Dark. Right: Garnier Skin Renew BB cream Oily Skin in Deep
Well here are some bb cremes! I love bb creams. They are lightwieght and these have sunscreen protection.
The maybelline is a deep sheer tint and has spf of 30. The garnier is in deep for oily skin, it also has an spf of 20.
The maybelline one is darker and the garnierr bb cream is runny compared to the maybelline, but at least the garnier has a lot more product. Coverage for both is medium, so if you need more coverage I would go with foundation. But the maybelline is a litter lighter coverage. It feels like not wearing makeup!
Overall, I like the maybelline one a little better. Maybelline wins for me!
Garnier is a little to light, and it dries too matte. Sometimes leaving creases, especially if you are sweating.
Hello again! I took twists out because they were getting frizzy. I tried Bantu knots again. I always fail at them. But this time I made the knots smaller and I made sure to twist them really tightly. They came out pretty well! Some of the curl lost definition, but the majority of it was pretty curly! Well, that's it for hair today. I orded flexi rods. We shall try those out in a later post.
Here is my eye of the day. I love bright colors! It is raining here, so I need something bright. I used the palette below. It is a random palette. It has eighteen colors and they are easy to blend. They have a bit of fallout though. The brand name is Absolute. I love the colors! To get the colors to pop, I used nyx eye primer.
This is my second fishtail attempt. It is okay. I messes up a little but I think it is still pretty. I used love n beauty cocoa for the brown, zoya darcy for the yellow, and zoya kaufda for the copper.
Here is my eye of the day. I used a random beauty palette I found at a small beauty store. I used a reddish color for the top of my eye. A purple for the middle. And a light blue for the lid. It was fun. I am not a makeup professional, but it was easy to do.
This is nyc: Love Me Red Creme. I have had this one for a while but never worn it. The pretty color magenta is so bright. I know its a basic color but it is so pretty. I do not know why they call it a red a creme it is a shimmer pink magenta polish. The formula is great and goes on smooth. This is three coats.
Essie Splash of Grenadine on left, Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink on right
Well, I thought theses were going to be dupes but essie is a little more purplink (a purple undertoned pink) and sally is more pink pink. They both are three coats. Both formulas are great. Bubblegum Pink is a little more creamy.
